'Absolutely fair play!' Brad Pitt is a good sport as he laughs off spoofs of his cheesy Chanel ads

He may be one of Hollywood’s heavyweights but that doesn’t mean Brad Pitt can’t laugh at himself.
The actor has been the butt of many a joke thanks to his recent involvement in some adverts for Chanel No. 5 which were released last month.
But Brad isn’t offended that the cheesy ads were parodied by Saturday Night Live and Conan O’Brien, amongst others.
In fact the star was a great sport as he admitted it was ‘fair play’ to poke fun at the spoofs, when he was quizzed while promoting his new crime movie Killing Them Softly.
The 48-year-old told Access Hollywood during a press junket: ‘I’ve been overseas, so I’ve been blissfully protected.’
He added: ‘I haven’t [seen the parodies], but I say absolutely fair play, fair play.’
However the star, who was seen on Tuesday taping an appearance on Good Morning America, did defend the Chanel adverts.
He said of the fashion giant: ‘I kind of liked it ... I respect what they do. They do some really quality things.’
In one of the offbeat black and white mini films for the fragrance, Brad can be seen saying: ‘It's not a journey. Every journey ends but we go on. The world turns and we turn with it.
‘Plans disappear. Dreams take over. But wherever I go, there you are. My luck, my fate, my fortune.’
The Saturday Night Live sketch in particular spoofed the long-winded and random nature of the clips.
A Brad impersonator says: ‘Is there really no script, because I’ve been talking to myself for two hours straight. I’m starting to sound insane.’
On Monday Brad attended a screening for his latest film where he revealed that he and Angelina are likely to tie the knot soon.
He told People: 'The time is nigh. It's soon. I got a good feeling about it.'
He added: 'I am getting more pressure from my kids, and it is something I want to do within their lifetime, but I also feel like the time has come.'
Pitt and Jolie, 37, have been together for seven years and have six children together – Maddox, 11, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, six, and twins Knox and Vivienne, four.
He also explained their approach to teaching the children about Santa Claus and told E! Online: 'What I tell them is some people believe it's Santa, and some people believe it's parents, and you get to believe whatever you want.'
