The Egyptian Cultural Center Celebrates the Creative Experience of Algazaerli

The Egyptian Cultural Center in Riyadh organized a poetry evening to celebrate the unique experience of the poet Mr. Algazaerli, and to discuss some of his works like “the alphabet of pain” in which the poet expresses and engaged through two different poetic experiences of investing semantic language, providing a deep reading of the many national, Arab and humanitarian issues.
Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, the cultural advisor of the Egyptian center, said that : “ the poet Algazaerli represents humanitarian situation characterized by balance and reconciliation with the social surroundings, so I note that in his poetry, he focuses on the national issues addressed in his poetry of that human dimension." He added; "This evening is a part of a series of cultural activities in which the Egyptian Cultural Center seeks to be a cultural interface for creativity and creative’s," stressing that the criteria invoked in every tributary of creative\ cultural activity are literary, artistic and aesthetic standards of quality that draw creative mind nets to present it within the National self to the audience.
He also explained that the Egyptian Cultural Center in Riyadh is opened to all creators who hold noble aesthetic message triumph creativity and uphold national and human values, and raise the banner of true innovation, and reflects positively on the social surroundings, and to those interested in the various streams of creativity. During the evening, which was held under the supervision of the Egyptian ambassador in Riyadh, Afifi Abdul Wahab, and presented by the poet Ibrahim Mansour, on a musical background of "the flute and lute” played by the Syrian artist Maher Al Amer, Algazaerli read some selected lines from the poems of the first part and the second part of the " The alphabet of pain". It interaction of the audience was interesting that filled the hall with his poet’s ability to deliver his massage that contributed significantly to create a link between him and the audience.
As a part of the evening, a number of writers and poets expressed their opinions about Algazaerli poetic experience, like Dr. Hisham AlSahar, a writer, the poet Imad Qatari, poet Mohammed Hijazi, playwright and Ayman Abdel-Hamid. Dr. Hisham Al Sahar discussed the underlying idea of “the alphabet of pain” as a unique poetic experience considering the employment of linguistic and semantic repository, while the poet Imad shed light on the important phases in the poet's experience as one of the leading poets of the nineties generation.
The poet Mohammed Hijazi focused on the implications of the water and its relationship to the land, considering that one of the important entrances to anyone who wants access to the experience of the poet also addressed the writer and playwright, Ayman Abdel-Hamid discussing the “cinograve” dimension in Algazaerli’s poetry.
During the evening, there were also some interventions of a number of poets and journalists, including: Saudi poet Hamad Al-Rashidi, a Saudi poet d. Abdul Allah al-Maliki, the Syrian poet Majid Al Aswad, the Syrian poet Tomader Al moh, the Egyptian poet Hani Qassem, the engineer Michel Faraj, and the writer Sharif Saadani. |
