Who would have guessed Madonna is insecure about her thighs? Singer's trainer reveals star's surprise body hang up

Madonna has worn a succession of revealing outfits on her recent MDMA tour flaunting her toned legs and slim figure.
But according to her personal trainer, Nicole Winhoffer, it has taken months of gym workouts to give the 54-year-old the confidence to show off her thighs - as she thinks they're fat.
'We're all born with an area we're insecure about and she thinks it's her thighs so we spend a lot of time moulding and sculpting. She works very hard on it,' Nicole told this week's New! magazine, which goes on sale today.
The exercises Madonna has been undertaking with Nicole, who has been the popstar's trainer for the last three years after she parted company with fitness guru Tracy Anderson, have clearly been working.
The Material Girl hasn't be afraid to take to the stage in skimpy lingerie during her latest tour.
Nicole told New! she works out with Madonna one to two hours a day as well as training the dancers and back up singers who are involved in the tour performances.
She said she works on 'five key areas' with the mother-of-four.
'I look to tighten the back of the arms, to cinch the waist, to flatten the lower abdominals, to work on the inner and outer definition of the thighs and to raise the butt,' she explained.
Nicole, 28, who first started working with Madonna as a dancer before becoming her trainer, said the star is an inspiration because she's never too tired to exercise.
'She’s in the gym five or six days a week as well as being a full-time mother. So if I feel a bit low I just look to her and think, "If she can do it, I have no excuse,"' she said.
Nicole will reveal the secrets of her workouts with the singer in a series of DVDs, called Addicted To Sweat, which feature dance routines and toning exercises.
The former Broadway dancer said the workouts are about 'burning calories and achieving muscle tone.'
